How You Can Help

In any kind of organization, there are two very real ways to "help out." First is donating time and second is donating money. Our administrative and fundraising principles are fairly simple (they revolve around getting together with fabulous people, chatting, learning a bit about Womenaid and leaving a check at the door!), so volunteer opportunities center mostly around bringing ideas together for spreading the word about Womenaid, bringing people together for the same reason and helping to make our signature events happen.

Ways to help raise money for Womenaid without even trying:

Host a House Party
House parties occur when someone who is moved by the work we do wants to combine having a party with helping Womenaid raise additional funds. Part of our mission is to bring people together - and we've been heartened to be a part of many gatherings where neighbors met neighbors for the first time. Click here to read of one house party.
